Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant in Whitehall, PA, gets its tanks

Founded in Newark, DE in 1996 by Kevin Finn, Mark Edelson and Kevin Davies, Iron Hill is among the most enduringly successful restaurants and craft brewery concepts in the United States with 20 locations in Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Georgia, and over 25 years of award-winning recognition at national and international beer competitions.

Each Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant boasts its own kitchen and brewery, allowing the creativity to pair the freshest ingredients with the highest quality grains and hops mere steps away from the table. In 2020, the group opened its first large, full-scale production brewery in Exton, Pennsylvania, to prepare the same delicious craft signature beer and seasonal favorites to larger consumer audiences through specific retail and distribution channels in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant recently hit another construction milestone, welcoming the arrival of its brewery tanks, which were installed last week at 950 Lehigh Lifestyle Center in Whitehall, Pennsylvania. Cofounder and VP of Beer, Mark Edelson and his team installed the brewing equipment, which includes a mash tun, heating exchange, fermentation tanks, serving tanks and a grain mill.

“Similar to all Iron Hill Breweries and Restaurants, these tanks and this equipment enables us to bring our craft beer directly from the tanks to the tables. We will have seven signature beers always available and be able to brew an additional 9 seasonals that rotate throughout the year, including IPAs, Belgians, German lagers, and American styles,” said Edelson.
